After the launch of about one month, the demand for Honda WR-V has suddenly increased. The company has got more booking than expected, consequently the waiting period of this car has now reached 45 days.
A lot of people considered this car as a replacement of the Jazz hatchback car, but, nonetheless Honda has made it clear that it is not the Jazz, it is a quite different car. Although Honda will not bring any new product in the market for one year, according to the company.
The Honda dealers clarified that the waiting period of the lower variant of this car is one month, while the waiting period for its top- spec trims has reached 45 days. It is interesting to know that its weighting period depends on the colour options too. White WR-Vs are available at once, whereas buyers will have to wait for Carnelian Red. In fact, buyers do like the WR-V in this colour very much.
As far as engines are concerned, the Honda WR-V comes available in 1.5- liter diesel engine and 1.2- liter petrol engine. The car comes equipped with a five- speed manual transmission gearbox only. The price of its base model petrol is Rs 7.75 lakh and its top -spec diesel has been priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. All prices are ex- showroom, Delhi.
Moreover, the demand for an automatic variant is coming too, and it is expected that the company can introduce its automatic variant in the market anytime. By now, the company has got 12 thousand bookings for the Honda WR-V. The Honda WR-V competes directly with the Hyundai i20 Active.
