Bugati Veyron with driver Liu

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has set a new world record in becoming the world's fastest open top (convertible) car.The luxury car maker Bugatti with this high-performance version has been able to attain a top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph).The record was achieved with a car that sported dual-color scheme in black and orange.The car can achieve 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds

The man behind the wheel was 29 year old Chinese race driver Anthony Liu.The price of this WRC edition Bugatti version is 1.99 million euros.People would be able to see Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse WRC at Shanghai Motor Show from April 21-29 , 2013



Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse was launched at 2012 Geneva Motor Show.This 16 cylinder car produces a maximum output of 1,200 PS (880 kW; 1,200 bhp) @ 6.400 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,500 N·m (1,100 lb·ft) @ 3,000-5,000 rpm.
