Honda, the major Japanese car maker, has revealed the updated 2016 Accord in the US. Now that, the 2016 Accord is a totally US-bound model hence it will not come to India in the same state but,nonetheless, the company will make it suitable for Indian road conditions. The Accord will take on the likes of Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat and Skoda Superb.
The Accord features- revised front and rear bumpers, new head-lamps, larger chrome grille and tail-light clusters with Led elements. At the same time, it gets optional 19-inch alloy wheels and a different aluminum hood.
Moreover, the Accord gets an absolutely new feature- the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In fact, Apple CarPlay is the Apple’s new system uses the voice assistant Siri to connect the iPhone to a car’s audio system, giving the driver voice-controlled music, maps, contacts and so on. It also gets rain sensing wipers.
As far engine is concerned, the US model gets the option of either a 2.4-litre i-VTEC or a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine. Both the engines get the option of 6-Speed manual or a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. The price of Accord will start in the range of $ 22,925 to $ 34,450 depending upon the model.
