Auto manufacture Ford India has unveiled the sports edition of its hatchback car – Figo and compact sedan – Aspire in the country. According to the company, diesel variant of Figo sports edition comes with a price tag of Rs 7.21 lakh while the petrol version has been priced at Rs 6.31 lakh.The sports edition models of Ford also accompanies with bigger (15 inch) alloy wheels.
On the other hand, sports edition of Ford Aspire with a re-tuned suspension has been priced at Rs 7.6 lakh for the 1.5 diesel Titanium variant and Rs 6.5 lakh for the 1.2 petrol Titanium version. All prices are ex- showroom, Delhi.
These cars are based on titanium variant with both being available in petrol and diesel versions.No engine changes have been made to these editions.The cars have the same 1.5 liter diesel engine and 1.2 liter petrol engine.Both cars are equipped with 5-speed manual transmission.The car has features like black grille , boot mounted spoiler and black OVRMs , smoked headlamp and all black interior.
Interestingly , Ford has reduced the claimed mileage for these cars.The 1.2 liter petrol is now claimed to deliver 18.12kmpl (earlier – 18.16kmpl) and official 1.5L diesel engine mileage of sports edition is 24.29 kmpl (earlier (25.83 kmpl).
