Aprilia has launched its least expensive model scooter ‘SR150’ in India.The cost of this 3-valve scooter is Rs 65,000(ex Showrooms Delhi).The scooter model was eagerly awaited in India due to its stylish and aggressive look.The scooter has sporty graphics and adorns a ‘European’ style.The powerful scooter stands out in the crowd of Indian scooter bazaar.It has 14 inch black alloy wheels , an impressive dual headlight and speedometer.

The 154cc single cylinder SR 150 scooter engine in  by Aprilia delivers 11.4 BHP power and 11.5NM torque.The scooter has also been given with Automatic Transmission.The suspension of this scooter has been tweaked according to Indian road conditions.The 220mm disk brake at the front and 140mm drum brake at the rear equips it with an effective braking system.Also a telescopic forks at the front and a single side coil spring suspension at the rear accompanies this vehicle.

The Crossover sport-scooter bike ‘ SR 150’ is being manufactured at the Piaggio’s Baramati plant in Maharastra.The sale of ‘SR150’ scooter is being made through showrooms of ‘Vespa’ and ‘Motoplex’.
