Piaggio Group has launched the Piaggio Vespa RED scooter in India. The scooter comes with a price tag of Rs. 87,000. The price is ex- showroom, Mumbai. Vespa has created a team in India to fight against AIDS in collaboration with (RED).
RED is an organization that was founded by Irish band U2 Front man Bono and Bobby Shriver. Both help AIDS patients. By now, (RED) has collected more than $ 475 million as a global fund to fight AIDS and support HIV / AIDS.
In terms of features, the Vespa RED scooter has been provided exclusive red body colour, 12- inch red alloy wheels and red- art leather seats. Bollywood celebrity Farhan Akhtar has introduced this scooter in Mumbai. The scooter is now available for sale through Vespa dealership across the country.
Power specification :
The Vespa Red Edition VXL 125 has 125 cc, 3- valve single cylinder mill engine. This engine generates a power of 10.06 PS at 7,500 rpm and 10.06 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with CVT gearbox.
At the same time, single arm front suspension and dual affect hydraulic shock absorber at the rear have been installed in this scooter. In addition, 200 mm front disc and 140 mm rear drum brakes have been installed in it.
In the Indian market, it will compete directly with Aprilia SR 150.
