The BS 4 compliant version of Activa , Activa I , with 5 attractive colours has been launched in India.Honda under its Activa Brand sells three scooter models Activa 4G , Activa 125 and lighter-stylish version Activa-I.This is Honda’s 3rd updated scooter launch after the BS4 complaint scooter model launch of Honda Deo and Honda Activa 4G .The ex-showroom price of the scooter is RS 47,913 in Delhi.
The company has been able to retain the top spot in terms of scooter sales in India.Its ‘Activa Brand’ was the best selling 2-wheeler in the year 2016.The BS IV engine of new Activa I has got a 110cc HET engine which generates 8BHO power with 8.7Nm torque.It has received AHO and tubeless tires.
The 109 cc Activa i has a max speed of 83kmph with 5.3L fuel tank capacity.The engine is attached with CVT automatic gearbox.It has a kerb weight of 103 Kg.It has been available in 5 colours like – Orchid Purple Metallic , Lush Magenta Metallic , Neo Orange Metallic ,Black and Imperial Red Metallic.
In this segment the scooter competes with TVS Jupiter , Hero Maestro and Yamaha Fascino scooters.The average mileage of Activa I is 60kmpl.
