Nissan’s sub-brand Datsun has launched the GO and GO+ Special Anniversary Edition after completing 3-year in India. The company has added many new features in this special edition car. Both Special Edition have been given only in the top-end variants.
The price of Special Edition of the Datsun Go is Rs. 4.19 lakh, while the Special Edition Datsun Go+ has been priced at Rs. 4.90 lakh. All prices are ex- showroom, Delhi. As far as seating is concerned let us remind you that , Datsun Go+ is a 7 seater car while Datsun Go is a 1200cc small car that has 5 passenger seat option.
To give a different look than the old cars, Special Editions have been provided new stickers and black rear spoiler. Additionally, keyless entry system, rear parking sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, radio and USB connection features have also been added to the Special Edition cars.
There are no mechanical changes in the engines. The Datsun GO and GO+ come fitted by the same 1.2- litre, 3- cylinder petrol engine which generates 68 PS of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. It delivers a mileage of more than 20 kmpl. In terms of safety, single driver side airbag has been provided as optional. However, ABS function has not been given.
There is no special change in the look, though new and attractive graphics of both cars provide a fresh look. Special Anniversary Edition comes with side body graphics and as first- in- segment feature, both cars get key-less entry and Ambient Lighting app for mobile phones.
Moreover, both cars have been given Anniversary Edition badge and black rear spoiler. In terms of price, both cars are similar to the T(O) variant. The cabin of both Special Edition cars has been given app- controlled mood lighting which makes its blue interior more attractive. In the cabin, blue colour highlighter has been given on instrument cluster, gearbox, seat and central console.
