The popular compact SUV Ford Ecosport in its latest 2018 update has now received a petrol-powered manual transmission gearbox.The company has introduced a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox in is Titanium+ petrol variant.It was , so far , only available with a six-speed automatic gearbox and now Ford has added this 5-speed option.
The 1.5L Ti VCT petrol engine equipped with 5-speed MT delivers 17kmph mileage.
The premium segment SUV model has been priced at Rs 10.47 lakhs.It is Rs 83,000 less as compared to automatic version.
The EcoSport in the segment competes with Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon.
Titanium+ variant features 8-inch tounchscreen infortainemtn system that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play.It features with a rear parking camera , Automatic Climate Control , Cruise Control and most importantlt 17-inch alloy wheels.
Along with ISOFIX child seat anchors , it also comes with 6 air-bags in its safety features.
