Honda is planning to launch its new car. Recently , the company , had showcased 1.5 litre Turbocharged DOHC-4 Civic car.It may launch this ‘new Civic’ by the end of the year. This is Honda’s 10th generation car and the company has designed it totally with new technology.
The expected price of the Honda Civic will range from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
The main highlight of the Honda Civic is it sprints from 0 – 100 kmph in just 6.8 seconds. In terms of features, Honda has given it a 1.5 litre, 16 valve I-4 engine that generates 174 hp of power and 300 Nm 0f torque. At the same time, both transmissions – 6-speed Manual and CVT Automatic will be available with the car.
The Honda Civic will be available with both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be a 1.8-litre, i-VTEC engine which produces 135 BHP and 170 Nm of torque, whereas the diesel variant will be a 1.6-litre engine which churns out 120 BHP and 300 Nm of torque.
As far as mileage is concerned, the petrol powered Honda Civic may deliver 17 kmpl while the diesel powered Honda Civic will return 22 kmpl.As you might be aware that Honda , apart from regular Civic version , also manufacturers Civic Hybrid known for its better mileage and excellent safety features , but , this car variant is not yet available in India.
Moreover, the Honda Civic will be very hi-tech in terms of safety as it includes six airbags, reverse parking camera, dual zone climate control and so on.
