The Japanese two-wheeler major Honda has launched its new 110cc 2017 Activa 4G scooter with BS-IV engine in India. The Honda Activa 4G scooter has been priced at Rs 50,730. The price is ex- showroom, Delhi.
The company will offer it in two colour variants – Matt Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. In terms of features, the Honda Activa 4G comes with automatic headlamp on (AHO) feature.
The new Honda Activa 4G has the new re-designed front center cover and mobile charging port. In addition, it is fitted with combi-brake system (CBS), which on the rear brakes will make equal pressure on both tires and will help to stop it at high speed. At the same time, the scooter comes with seat storage space, tubeless tires and so on.
As far as engine is concerned, the new Honda Activa 4G comes equipped with 109.2 cc, eco technology engine, that meets BS-IV emission norms. The engines delivers a maximum power of 8 BHP at 7500 rpm and 9 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm, and it is linked to a V- matic gearbox. Besides, it has a top speed of 82 kmph.
Commenting on the launch of this scooter in India, Shri Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice-president for sales and marketing, Honda India, said, “With trust of nearly 1.5 crore Indian families, Honda’s iconic Activa is the first automatic scooter to become not only India’s but also World’s Number 1 selling two-wheeler in 2016, we expect this new model Activa will be able to win the hearts of its customers.”
