Hyundai is unveiling a news avatar of its popular premium sedan ‘Elantra’.The ‘6th generation’ sedan , whose initial price will start around RS 12.99 lakhs will be launched on Aug 23.The sedan will be an immediate rival to Honda Civic,Chevrolet Cruze,Scoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla Altis.Hyundai dealerships have started accepting bookings and pople can book this car with an amount of Rs 25,000.

The new Hyundai Elantra 2016 is being launched in both 1.6 litre diesel and 1.8 litre petrol engine.The car also gets 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gear box.This With a better performance and handling this Elantra is longer and wider than the classic one.

Unlike the existing version of Elantra the ‘new Hyundai Elantra’ is more attractive , powerful and sharper looks.Hyundai has employed ‘Fluidic Sculptor’ theme to develop this variant.

The exterior of new Hyundai Elantra has been re-designed.The front sports Hyundai’s signature grill,sharp head lamp and day time running lights.The side has been given 17 inch alloy wheel.The LED tail-lamps and coupe-like roof brings freshness to the car.

The new Hyundai Elantra cabin has also got new updates.7-8 inch touch screen infotainment system in the car has got the support for Apple car play and google android.The ‘Hyundai Blue Link’ technology, which allows riders perform a number of userful remote functions right from their wrist and smartphones, has also been used in the car.As far safety of driver and passengers are concerned ‘The new Hyundai Elantra’ has got features like 7-airbags,Electronic stability control(ESC),Vehicle stability management(VSM),Traction Control,Anti Lock Breaking System(ABS) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
