French automaker Renault has launched a new variant – the Climber in the line-up of its popular hatchback Kwid after Special Edition ‘Live For More’ in January 2017. This hatchback car was introduced by the company at the 2016 Auto Expo and since then, according to reports, the demand of this car had grown and because of this reason, the company had to launch this new variant.
The price of the new Kwid Climber is Rs 4.30 lakh for the 5-speed manual variant and Rs 4.60 lakh for the AMT variant. Both prices are ex- showroom, Delhi. The booking of the Kwid Climber has been started in India.
The car has been introduced only in the 1.0 liter petrol engine. Although, in comparison to the current model of Kwid, there have been several changes in the look of the new Climber. The Kwid Climber gets a sporty and bold look. In fact, there are 17 different types of changes in the new Climber.
With orange treatments, it gets new roof bars, dual- tone orange ORVMs and new electric blue – coloured body in its exterior. This time the variant has received three new colours.This new variant of the Kwid produces 68 PS of power @ 5500 rpm and 91 Nm of peak torque @ 4250 rpm. At the same time, it delivers a mileage of 23.01 kmpl.
