The new model of Maruti Suzuki DZire was launched in May 2017 in India. This car has made a record of the fastest selling 1 lakh units in the country. The Maruti Suzuki has sold 1 lakh units of DZire within five- and- a- half months of its launch.
In so far, this model had made a record of selling about 31 thousand units in the month of August. The waiting period of the car has gone to three months. It is noteworthy that about 39 thousand units out of one lakh have not yet been delivered.
In terms of features, the Maruti Suzuki DZire is a sedan car, which is 100 kg lighter compared to the old model. The reason of low weight is that it has been built on the HEARTEC design. At the front, this car looks like the Maruti Suzuki Swift to some extent.
This car has been provided new grille, projector headlamp and LED DRL (daytime running light). The touchscreen infotainment system of the car supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.
The car gets 1.2 – liter petrol engine and 1.3 – liter diesel engine. The petrol engine of the car returns a mileage of 22 kmpl, while its diesel engine delivers a mileage of 28.4 kmpl.
The 1.2- liter petrol engine of the car produces the power of 83 HP. On the other hand, the 1.3- liter, four – cylinder diesel engine of the car generates 75 HP power. Both of these cars are coming with the five – speed manual and automated manual transmission options.
As far as price is concerned, the ex – showroom price of the car starts from Rs 5.45 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.41 lakh.
On the safety front, the Maruti Suzuki DZire comes equipped with plenty of features such as airbags for driver and passengers, ABS, headlamp beam adjuster, child safety lock and so on.
