Country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki has launched the ‘Onam’ limited edition of Alto 800 in view of the Onam festival in Kerala. According to the company’s Commercial Business Head, Southern Region, Kerala is an important market for Maruti Suzuki and Alto 800 is the highest selling model. Particularly in the holy month of chingam in the south region, Maruti Suzuki gets an immense response for its popular model Alto 800 every year.
The Maruti Alto 800 ‘Onam’ limited edition comes with a package of 15 additional features. These features are- power car charger, reverse parking sensors, music system with speakers, designer seat covers, embroidered cushions, and so on. In addition to these, the vehicle has Onam graphics and decal on the side of the car around the D-Pillar.
An Interested customer can avail the Maruti Suzuki Onam Limited Edition packages by paying a nominal amount of Rs. 17,350 over the ex-showroom price.
Since the Maruti Alto 800 ‘Onam’ limited edition is just a festive edition, hence the vehicle has not any mechanical changes made. The vehicle continues the same engine- K-Next 796cc F8D, that produces 48 Ps of power and 69 Nm of torque and 5-speed manual gearbox, as usual in other Alto variants.
