The largest car maker of the country Maruti, in low-budget cars, will soon launch its Wagon R MPV with 7-seater. Due to increasing demand and good response of buyers, the company is now bringing a better option for the large family. It is expected that this year, the Wagon R will be launched in 7-seater. The company can keep its initial price at Rs 5.2 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R was first launched in 1993 and since then it has been one of the best- selling cars. It is worth- mentioning that despite the small size, this car has been given a lot of space which is quite comfortable for both driver and passenger.
Undoubtedly, people liked this car very much. According to reports, there will be many changes in the new variant of this car.
Wagon R 7 seater will have 3 variants
Maruti Wagon R may be launched in three models – R base, R Top and R CNG. The estimated ex- showroom price of the R Base will be Rs 5.2 lakh, Rs 6.5 lakh for the R Top and Rs 6.3 lakh for the R CNG.
Upcoming Wagon R Features
New body graphics will be given in the Wagon R 7-seater limited edition. At the same time, some more new features such as central locking, dual tone dashboard with keyless entry, rear power window with premium seat fabric, security alarms and Double DIN car stereo with Bluetooth will be added in the car. Although, its front and rear look like the old wagon R.
Maruti’s new Wagon R with 3rd row seats to have 1.2 liter engine
The Wagon R 7 seater will come equipped with a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder engine that produces 84 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. The engine can get both options – 5 speed manual and automatic transmission (AMT). Moreover, the company can also offer CNG option with the new Wagon R 7-seater.
