According to media reports, Maruti Suzuki may showcase this car at the Auto Expo 2018. This new hatchback may replace the Maruti’s Alto K10. It is being said about this new car that it would be a crossover, based on the SUV design. It will be stylish as well as in your budget. The company is expected to introduce the car with some new changes.
The car competes directly with the Renault Kwid
In terms of price, the expected price of this car will range from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. Under the hood, this crossover will come equipped with 800 cc engine that will compete with Maruti’s Alto. At the same time, it will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
This new crossover hatchback of the Maruti Suzuki will compete directly with the Renault Kwid. According to the company’s data, the Renault Kwid has affected the market of Maruti Alto and sales of the Alto declined in December 2016.
