Mahindra XUV 500 new high-tech features 2017 will not be available in W4 base variant

Renowned auto maker of the country, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has launched a range of new hi-tech features in its popular SUV -  the XUV500. This new version of the Mahindra XUV500 comes equipped with several new features such as Android Auto, Connected Apps, Ecosense tech and Emergency Call function, which are available for the first time in any car in India.

In a statement, the company has said that this facility offers the user the option of connectivity, convenience and entertainment. These features will be available starting from the W6 variant on all XUV500. The car has been priced at Rs 13.8 lakh. The price is ex- showroom, Delhi.

Additionally, a new lake- side brown colour with premium black interiors in the W10 variant of the XUV500 has been introduced by the company.

Rajan Wadhera, President, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, “When it was launched in 2011, the XUV500 broke new ground in automotive technology with several innovative technology firsts to its credit. We continued with this focus, adding more sophisticated and hi-tech features in the New Age XUV500 in 2015."

Moreover, the new E-Call facility in the new Mahindra XUV500 provides access to emergency services in case of an accident. This feature automatically calls the emergency service and after this it sends two text messages added to the mobile number.
