The renowned two-wheeler manufacturer of the country Bajaj Auto Ltd keeps changing their bikes according to their customers choice. The company has launched the Bajaj Dominar 400 bike in last December, and the youth liked this stylish bike very much.
Now in 2017, Bajaj Auto is about to launch its first bike in the market. The first look of this bike has been released by Bajaj Auto on social media. The bike will be known as the Pulsar NS200 in the market.
Considering the choice of the youth, the company has tried to give it a new look by changing its paint scheme. The Pulsar NS200 comes equipped with 199.5 cc, liquid cooled, 4-Valve engine which produces 23.52 PS of power @ 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of torque @ 8000 RPM, and it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike also features rear mono-suspension and petal disc brakes. The engine of the bike is designed according to the BS-IV emission norms. At the same time, fuel injection technology has been added in the bike as a new feature. Moreover, the Pulsar NS200 has an official 3.1 seconds time for the 0 – 60 kmph sprint with a maximum speed of 135 kmph.
As far as weight of the Pulsar NS200 is concerned, the company has significantly reduced its weight compared to other bikes in this segment. The weight of this sporty look bike is only 151 kilograms. Besides, the bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
This new model of the Bajaj Pulsar may also get ABS (Anti-lock braking system) technology. However, if the bike get the option of ABS, its price will certainly be increased. The Pulsar NS200 will compete directly with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.The price of Pulsar NS200 2017 in India will be RS 96,453 and has been available in three color options.
