Nissan updates Terrano 2017 with new infotainment system and security features

A new 7 inch touch infotainment system has been given in this facelift of Terrano

Nissan has launched its updated version of Terrano 2017 with a starting price of 9.99 lakhs. The company has already said that this time the Terrano suv is smaller and bolder than the previous model. At the same time, Nissan has made some new technical changes in this new SUV.

Although, the new Terrano looks very similar to the existing Terrano available in the market. According to sources, there is a major change in the interior of the car with dual tone interiors. Nissan has made some changes in the cabin also. Besides, the company has given a swing mirror and a new exterior paint shade in this model of the car.

As per dealers, a new touchscreen infotainment system with navigation has been provided in the 2017 Nissan Terrano. However, it will have the old multifunctional steering. It is expected that this car will get a new colour.            

Moreover, several security features will be included in the updated Nissan Terrano, such as dual front airbags and ABS will be more powerful now. The Terrano facelift comes with a 1.6- liter petrol engine and a 1.5- liter diesel engine.

In petrol variant, the car gets 85 horsepower, at the same time the company has provided a five- speed manual gearbox. While, the diesel variant generates 110 horsepower. And, the company has given a six- speed manual or AMT gearbox in Terrano. 

The updated Nissan Terrano will compete directly with the Hyundai Creta and the Renault Duster. Renault can launch the facelift model of Duster by the end of this year.
