Tata Nano Twist model with electric power steering

Tata Nano update has been launched as ‘Nano Twist‘ with power steering feature.It has a mileage of 25.4 litre per kilometre.The new update comes at a time when the company is facing troubles with the falling sales of the car.This is the first when an electric power steering is used in a car of this segment.The hydrolic power steering is what we saw being used widely in Maruti and other companies car models.

This new electric power steering feature is going to cost you an additional Rs 14,000 for the top model of ‘Nano Twist’.The cost of the new Nano model will range from 1.55-2.36 lakhs in national capital Delhi.The car will continuous updates in terms of color and style in future as reported by Tata motors.

Until now the company was unwilling to introduce a power steering version of the car because the car has already got a rear engine.The change in decision by the company seems to be due to the changing requirement and perception of the comsumer.The utility of power steering in a small light weight car like nano is yet to be tested.
