Tata Zest Sportz Edition Launched In India

The Tata Zest compact sedan Sportz edition has been launched by the Tata Motors to celebrate its sales of 50,000 units in the country. To celebrate this anniversary, a special EMI scheme of Rs. 3,999 per month, free insurance worth Rs. 33,000, an exchange bonus worth Rs. 30,000 and other benefits of up to Rs. 68,000 are also being offered by the company. 

There is no mechanical change in the Tata Zest compact sedan Sportz edition. The compact sedan is available in both diesel and petrol engine options. The 1.3 litre Fiat-sourced Quadrajet engine is available in two variants – 73 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque, and the second engine generates 88 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the 1.2 litre, four cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol engine produces a maximum power of 88 bhp and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The engines are paired to a five speed manual transmission gearbox, although a five speed AMT gearbox is also available with the 88 bhp diesel engine.   

The Tata Zest compact sedan Sportz edition now gets tri-color body graphics, red colour OVRM caps, blacked out roof, alloy wheels, bumper protectors and rain visors. On the inside, there is new seat covers too.
