Tata’s Hexa Crossover suv seen on road before official launch

On Manali-Leh Highway in Himachal the upcoming crossover by Tata – Hexa was spotted recently without a camouflage.As we has reported , the home grown auto maker Tata Motors will soon launch its all new seven-seater SUV – the Hexa, which is based on Aria crossover. The estimated ex-showroom price of the Tata Hexa will be around Rs 13 lakh – Rs 18 lakh. The Tata Hexa will come equipped with almost all vital safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, engine drag control, vehicle dynamic control and traction control system. 

On the exterior front, the Tata Hexa will feature smoked projector head lamps, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, honeycomb grille, dual tone bumper with fog lamps in front, dual tail pipes at rear, giant hood, body coloured roof rails and spoiler and 19 inch alloy wheels. On the inside, there will be ample space for the passengers and the SUV will come packed with plenty of comfort and convenience features. 

In terms of dimension, the Tata Hexa measures 4764 mm in length, 1895 mm in width and 1780 mm in height along with a large wheelbase of 2850 mm.

Under the hood, the Tata Hexa will come equipped with the 2.2 litre, four cylinder, VARICOR diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 150 PS along with a peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine will linked to a six-speed manual transmission as standard or a five-speed automatic transmission as option.       

The Tata Hexa will compete with the Mahindra XUV500, the Honda BR-V, the Toyota Innova, the Hyundai Creta, the Nissan Terrano and the Renault Duster.

In the early part of this year Tata Motor has launched Tata Tiago car with some advanced safety features and lucrative price.
