The country’s largest vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its compact SUV- the KUV 100. The vehicle comes with a price tag that ranges between Rs 4.42 lakh and Rs 6.76 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom, Pune. The Mahindra KUV 100 will be available in both options diesel and petrol. The Mahindra KUV 100 will be the most fuel efficient SUV of the country, as the company claims. The Mahindra KUV 100 will be available in seven exciting colours- Aquamarine, Flamboyant Red, Designer Grey, Pearl White, Fiery Orange, Dazzling Silver and Midnight Black.

The Mahindra KUV 100 comes with  mFalcon engines- a 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 dual VVT petrol engine which puts out 82 bhp of power at 5,500 rpm and 114Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Whereas,  the 1.2-litre, mFalcon D75 diesel engine delivers a maximum power of 77 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 190 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,250 rpm. Here, it is notable that both  are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and the 2WD system.

The Mahindra KUV 100 measures 3,675 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height. Besides, it has a wheelbase of 2,385 mm and ground clearance of 170 mm. At the same time, the vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 35-liters. So far as mileage is concerned, the petrol variant offers 18.23 kmpl while the diesel variant gives a mileage of 25.32 kmpl.

The Mahindra KUV 100 comes with two seating configurations- a 5-seat layout and 6-seater options that can be converted into a 5-seater by using bench seats in both the front and the rear. On the safety front, the Mahindra KUV 100 is equipped with ABS with EBD and an engine immobilizer along with the optional dual airbags.

Moreover, the vehicle is loaded with a number of features like an infotainment system with a 3.5 inch display screen, Bluetooth audio and Hands-free call, USB, in-built driver information system, steering-mounted controls, AUX, 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, dual rear fog lamps, a rear spoiler, a pair of wrap-around tail lamps and reflectors, a cup holder on both front and rear arm rest and Mahindra Blue Sense App compatibility.
