The Indian wing of the Japanese automaker Toyota has launched its new car – the Corolla Altis in India. The company has launched this superb car in both petrol and diesel variants. The cost of petrol variant Rs 15.87 lakh, while diesel variant has been priced at Rs 19.05 lakh. Both prices are ex showroom, New Delhi.
Engines of the new Toyota Corolla Altis:
The petrol variant of the new Toyota Corolla Altis comes fitted with a 1.8- liter engine which generates 140 PS of power and 173 Nm of maximum torque. Petrol engine is equipped with 6- speed manual and 7- speed CVT automatic gearbox. On the other hand, its diesel version will have a 1.4- liter engine, which produces 88 PS of power and 205 Nm of peak torque. Only 6- speed manual gearbox has been given with diesel engine.

The new Toyota Corolla Altis gets a sportier look and comes equipped with LED headlamps, daylight running lights and 17- inch alloy wheels. New bumpers have been used at the front and at the rear in the car. Its front grille is also new and there have been changes in front and rear lights too. In addition, there are some new changes in its cabin.
