The seventh largest car manufacturer, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the updated versions of the mid-sized sedan Etios and the hatchback Liva in the country. The updated version of the Etios sedan competes with the Renault Scala and the Nissan Sunny, whereas the updated version the Liva hatchback competes against the Nissan Micra, the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10.
Both cars are available in petrol and diesel options and the price of petrol powered Etios sedan (1.5 litre engine) ranges from Rs 6.43 lakh to Rs 7.74 lakh, while the diesel powered Etios sedan (1.4 litre engine) is priced between Rs 7.56 lakh to Rs 8.87 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.
On the other hand, the petrol option of the Liva hatchback (1.2 litre engine) is priced between Rs 5.24 lakh and Rs 6.28 lakh, whereas the price of diesel powered Liva hatchback (1.4 litre engine) ranges from Rs 6.61 lakh to Rs 7.44 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The updated versions of these cars come equipped with new features such as new instrument cluster, redesigned grille, electrically-folding OVRMS, new bumper, rear centre armrest, new alloy wheel design and rear parking sensors. While the safety features include anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat.
