TVS launches new version of ‘Apache RTR 200 4V’

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Bike with BS IV Engine and AHO

The government of India has implemented new standard for the vehicles. According to these norms, all bike maker companies are launching new models in the market. After implementing the BS-IV norms, all companies are changing their bikes and launching new one.

In this scenario, two-wheeler maker TVS Motor has launched its popular bike – the Apache RTR 200 4V in Mumbai on Sunday. The company has launched this bike in line with BS-IV standards. According to the BS-IV standard, the fuel for the bike will be available on petrol pump from April 1.          

TVS has not changed much in the design of its new bike. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V now comes with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature, which is an important part of the standard list of BS-IV. Although, you will not get the headlamp switch on the bike that was earlier mounted on the handlebar, and because of it, you will feel a little uncomfortable.    

The company has launched this new bike in Mumbai. The ex-showroom price of this bike in Mumbai will be in the range of Rs 97,800 – Rs 1,06,000. The company has also given new tires in the bike. Now in the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, you will get Pirelli tyres instead of the standard Remora rubber tires.   

Although, TVS has not made any official statement about when to get a fuel injected model with ABS. This new bike of TVS is in direct competition with the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS and the Yamaha’s new FZ25.
