The South Korean carmaker Hyundai will debut its new generation i30 Wagon with an increased space at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month. In fact, the i30 Wagon has its teaser was released by the Hyundai ahead of the showcasing.
According to the company’s designer, in terms of design, the new generation i30 Wagon will be based on the i30 family. It gets a new tailgate and a different set of tail-lights. Moreover, the tapering roofline and its dynamic proportions give it coupe-like silhouette.
The key features of the 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon could include LED daytime running lights, panoramic glass roof, three-projector LED headlamps, electrically-controlled ORVMs, LED tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, eight-inch infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It may also include power driver’s seat with memory function.
Under the hood, the 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon will be powered by the same a 1.4-litre turbo petrol four-cylinder that produces 138 bhp and a peak torque of 242 Nm. While, the company has a 1.4-litre naturally aspirated engine on offer also, which develops 100 bhp together with a 1.0-litre turbocharged motor which produces 120 bhp. All the engine will linked to a six-speed manual transmission as standard and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as an option.
