Bajaj Auto has launched its new 125 cc premium bike Bajaj V12 in the country. The ex-showroom, Delhi price of the bike is Rs 56,283. The company has made this bike on the V15 platform. Its style is also almost the same as the V15, so that the production costs may be kept low. The only difference between both motorcycles is the seat cowls which is in V15.
The Bajaj V12 comes equipped with 130 mm drum brake in the front and rear, though optional disc brake is not being given in this bike. The bike has been launched with tube and tyres in the market. The company has fitted the headlight of the bike with a 35 watts DC unit bulb whereas the V15 was installed with a 55-watt bulb.
The V12 is also a commuter motorcycles like the V15, including the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant using some metal (only figuratively in the small part of the body).
The Bajaj V12 comes with a 124.5 cc, single cylinder, air-cooled DTS-i engine that generates 10.7 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 10.98 Nm of maximum torque at 5,500 rpm. According to analysts, in this bike Bajaj Discover 125 engine has been installed.
In point of fact, the Bajaj V15 is being liked by the people very much because of its impressive looks. Besides, the biggest USP of the Bajaj V15 is its great performance. That is why the company has launched the V12 in the market. The Bajaj V12 is priced at Rs 56,283 which is more than Bajaj Discover 125.
