Indian automaker Tata Motors may launch a limited special edition of Hexa for the festival season. There may be some cosmetic changes in limited edition models of the Tata Hexa. The spotted model is likely to get the same features as the standard Hexa.The changes however would be reflected in terms of new metallic brown colour addition in the line-up and some other cosmetic updates.Currently, the Tata Hexa comes available in five colour options – Tungsten Silver, Arizona Blue, Platinum Silver, Pearl White and Sky Gray
The limited edition Hexa makes chrome trim around glass black front grille and smoked headlamp. There is a feature plate in the front bumper. The car has LED day running lights and lamps. It can be launched with 19 – inch dual tone wheel.
Updates like to be made in Hexa
The limited edition Hexa is likely to be offered with 2.2- liter, four- cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. The engine in the XE trim produces 148 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. While, the XM and XT variants are capable of producing 154 bhp of power and 400 Nm of highest torque.
The base version of the Tata Hexa is offered with the 5 – speed manual gearbox, while the XM and XT models are offered with 6 – speed manual or 6 – speed automatic transmission. At the same time, top- spec XT trim is also available with all- wheel- drive system. So, there won’t be any change in the engine of the variant.
Tata Motors can try to sell the Hexa for the festive season by offering a limited edition. The spotted model is finished in a new shade, and it is expected to have only minor cosmetic updates. Prices may be higher or lower.
Tata Hexa directly competes with Toyota Innova Crysta and XUV 500 in this segment.The introduction of updated model of Tata Hexa will be a nice option for the buyers apart from the nice performing Toyota Innova Crysta and XUV 500 .
